Laser Periodontal Therapy and Laser Surgery

With recent advances in diode laser technology, gum therapy and various surgical procedures may be completed in a more efficient, effective and comfortable manner for our patients. The diode laser energy is attracted to melanin, water, and hemoglobin-- three components which are increased in inflamed, diseased tissue. This allows us to spare healthy tissues and effectively complete procedures more conservatively.  Diode laser energy is thermal and actually vaporizes the targeted diseased tissue. Many procedures can be done without anesthetic, or with topical anesthetic only!

Digital x-rays

There are advantages to the use of digital sensors. The images obtained are easily fine-tuned to obtain the best resolution. The amount of radiation exposure is reduced. And we dont have to handle, dispose of toxic fixing chemicals or lead.

Intra-oral cameras

To aid in patient education, diagnosis and insurance processing we use had hand held cameras to record and magnify the conditions of your mouth. The patient can see on a computer screen what we are viewing in their mouth. And insurance companies find it difficult to dispute a claim that includes a color photo of your teeth and a picture is worth a thousand words!

Cosmetic Imaging

With the aid of advanced imaging software, we are able to demonstrate a representation of what your smile would look like following a variety of smile makeover options. This allows you the opportunity to preview the results prior to making any decisions.

Photo Studio

At Innovative Dentistry we have the ability to take pre-treatment and post treatment portrait quality photographs. Our walls are graced with examples of successful smile makeovers. Of course, these are all patients of record!
